The code you got sounds like it is for the O2 sensor heater circuit. The O2 sensor reads your fuel trim so the computer can adjust it to constantly keep the ideal ratio for the best MPG and best running engine. These sensors have to be hot to work so they have an electric heater in them. While they will still work because the exhaust will eventually heat them up, they will take longer to work and you may notice your short trip MPG will go down. Usually this only means the heater in the sensor is bad and you can just replace the sensor. The code should say something like (bank 1 sensor 2) or something like that and that will tell you which sensor you need.
