Where is the diagnostic socket

obd1 1995 and older obd2 1996 and newer. the manual will tell you where the diagnostic port is exactly. could have 2 one under the steering wheel side of the dash and 1 under the hood. the scaner kits will usualy tell you what vehicles and what adapter to use. To learn more:obd2 scanner

dose anyone known were the diagnostic plus are on 1999 1800 honda civic

it is located right against the firewall, open hood, look right under the hood where the windshield hits the hood. it is a black, round, cannister, with fuel lines.

If you go to a reputable motor factor,
you can only be sold the correct filter for the civic.
As there are soo many variables in engine type, it's almost impossible to tell, oil volume, or which type filter.
However, I will say, be sure that you don't mix semi-synthetic oil, and mineral oil.
Oil changes should be undertaken every 30,000 miles, (unless under extra work load, (in which case, slightly more regularly))

Otherwise, 10/40 or 15/40 grade oil, is perfectly fine.
The trick to not overfilling the oil, is simply just to take your time, clean the dip stick and retry, until you have the correct reading.

The cap should be marked for number 1. The distributor turns clockwise. The firing order is 1-3-4-2.

stop by a place that does radiators and I am sure they will sell you radiator supports and try www.autozone.com to see if they have your car listed for diagrams pictures and step by step instructions if your car is not listed then try your local library they have all the car manuals and even copy them for you

it is very difficult to match wiring harness from auto tranny to manual tanny they are different connectors and reverse lights on auto tranny was connected to the nuetral safety switch about 6 to 8 different wires on manual tranny there is a switch located on the top of the tranny and backup lights are connected only with 1 wire you may need to get some help from auto electrition this should not cost alot of money to fix thanks
