SOURCE: i have a Japanese spec

you have a sealed trans, if is leaking then you need to take it to a dealer for repair and they can add any missing AWS fluid, the level is checked with the Scan tool only, if not leaking dont worry the fluid is for as long your trans works.

2006 Mazda 6. The car slams when the gear changes. What could be the problem please?

This could be caused by a variety of issues, including low transmission fluid levels, a faulty transmission control module, or worn-out transmission components. It's best to take your car to a certified mechanic who can diagnose the issue and provide an accurate repair estimate.

In the meantime, you can check the transmission fluid level in your car. Here are the steps to follow:

Park your car on a level surface and turn off the engine.
Open the hood and locate the transmission dipstick.
Remove the dipstick and wipe it clean with a lint-free cloth.
Reinsert the dipstick all the way back into its tube.
Pull out the dipstick again and check the fluid level. The fluid should be between the "Full" and "Add" marks on the dipstick.
If you find that your transmission fluid level is low, you can add more fluid to bring it up to the correct level. Be sure to use the type of transmission fluid recommended by Mazda for your car.

How do I add coolant to my radiator. It seems there is a specific way to do it on a 2000 Impala.

Add it to the clear plastic overflow tank. --- Underhood Check
  • Engine oil--Check the engine oil level.
  • Coolant--Check the radiator coolant level in the reservoir.
  • Battery-- Visually check battery cables and connections.
  • Automatic transmission--Check the fluid level.
  • Master cylinder--Check the fluid level.
  • Power Steering--Check the fluid level.
  • Windshield washer--Check the fluid level.
  • Belts & hoses--Visually check all belts and hoses for wear. NOTE: In addition to the items listed above there are cases with some manufacturer's where odd components such as manual transmission/transaxles and front differentials many be equipped with a dipstick found underhood for fluid level check. If you are unsure of a dipstick on your vehicle, check with the owners manual. 89531p07.jpg

Need to check and add transmission fluid to the 2006 dodge magnum

Start the engine and let it come up to temperature. ( Fully warm up). Put the vehicle in neutral ( on level ground) and check the level on the transmission dipstick. The hard part is putting the fluid in if you need some. You have to use a funnel and put it in through the dipstick tube. DO NOT OVERFILL! hope this is helpful.

How to check transmission fluid level

Unfortunately you can not. Chevy put sealed transmissions on most of their cars starting in 2006. It would be out of luck if you got one without a sealed transmission. If you did, look behind the engine on the passenger side for a dipstick similar to your oil dipstick. If you dont see one, you will have to go to the dealership to have it checked.

    Hi there,

Jetta's 2006 carry sealed gear box. There is no dip stick to check the transmission fluid. Per manufacturer, transmission fluid requires to change unless there is any issue with transmission. I hope this helps.
