1991 2.5 transit snapped it timing belt, replaced belt fitted new pushrods, but when i try to manually turn engine over i cant get it to do a whole revolution, it stops with a loud hard knocking (sounds like the same noise if you were to hit the block with a hammer) before the belt snapped the clutch was on its way out, it sometimes slipped, is there any chance that the chutch problem might have got worse causing the engine to stop suddenly, causing the belt to snap (the belt was only 20k miles old 18months)

Usually when the timing belt snaps it damages the valves also you have to get the head valves checked for damage if they are damaged its $$$ you have to replace if the head is not broken also
if so
you need to replace the valves
valve guaides
valve seals
and get it valve grinding

it has to go to a workshop dont try to crank the engine again as if something saved will be saved
but if you keep trying you can damage more parts

How do I replace the alternator belt in a 1999 Suzuki Grand Vitara. My belt snapped and now I need to replace it, but I cant get the pulleys to allow the belt on.

Typically to get a new belt on an engine you have to unbolt the alternator and swing it so you can get the new belt on.

TD27 4-cylinder in-line, OHV, water-cooled has timing belt

It is a gear driven camshaft with pushrods to the overhead valves. The injection pump is also gear driven off the crankshaft. No timing belts, no timing chain..isn't life good?

At how many miles should i change my timing belt? 2002 ford escort 2.0 liter

According to the 1997-2002 Ford Escort Manual the average replacement interval is every 60,000 Miles (96,000 Kilometers). I unfortunately procrastinated and my timing belt snapped at 109,000 Miles and I had to go to the junk yard for a new engine. I had to replace a whole engine for not replacing a $15.00 belt.

How to bleed the clutch that has no bleeder screw or fittings what so ever? As it is hard to put in gear, cause its acting like the clutch is not being pressed in all the way?

If it has no bleed screw then you need to loosen the flange nut(that holds the pipe to the slave cylinder). Pump the pedal a couple times then hold it down. Loosen the nut till the fluid comes out. Fasten again. Pump and hold. Loosen etc.

Fit balancer shaft belt in anti-clockwise direction, starting at crankshaft sprocket. Slacken balancer shaft belt tensioner bolt. Turn tensioner clockwise to tension belt. Tighten bolt to 15-22Nm. Apply thumb pressure to belt. Belt should deflect 5-7 mm. If not repeat tensioning procedure. Install crankshaft sprocket guide washer, crnakshaft sprocket. Tighten crankshaft cente bolt. Tighten torque:110-130 Nm. Note ensure crankshaft sprocket guide washer is fitted correclty. Oil treads and contact face of crankshaft body before fitting. Check tensioner body for leakage or damage replace if necessary. Check pushrod protrusion is 12mm. If not replace automatic tensioner unit. Timing belt jumped.

You have damaged the Valves so the head will have to be removed and recondtioned at a machine shop or buy a rebuilt at auto supply house, the head will cost $250.. with an exchange head. you will have to replace pushrods for the valves if so equipped, and antifreeze oil and filter lifters as well so figure about $500.00 to $800.00 to do the fix to make it run right, they will punt in a new water pump and a new timing belt tensioner and belt and other things that you will not understand.
