Fixed Problem (it was my van) no power to ignition wire at starter. Replaced Ignition lock cylinder. just worn down. (Delivery van 50-60 starts a day). 160k miles.
Check the gearbox oil level on the gearbox dip stick if its too low it can cause problems .If the level is ok then check its colour,it should be red if not it will need to be drained and refilled with the correct oil.
You need to take the car to the dealer, because you need to recalibrate the electric throttle body with a TECH 2 Scanner, because the system went into a Limp mode.
You didn't give me much to go on but if it is stuck in second gear in it's in limp home mode the computer does this so you don't hurt the car check the speed sensor on the transmission
