In most cases, the cigarette lighter for both the driver and passenger sides of a vehicle are connected to the same fuse. Therefore, it is likely that the same fuse controls both cigarette lighters in your 2005 Chevrolet Express 1500. To determine which fuse controls the cigarette lighters, you should refer to your vehicle's owner's manual, which will provide a diagram of the fuse box and indicate which fuse is associated with the cigarette lighter circuit. Once you have located the appropriate fuse, you can check to see if it is blown and replace it if necessary.
i guess you mean rear, (row2 is like buss/aircraft jargon, ?) Auxiliary Power Outlet - Console 2 NO. no there are 3 power jacks just off fuse 3 but 1 ONE MORE in rear is on its own' fuse 40 apo (aux, power out) marked APO AND YET 1 MORE JACK AND FUSE. OFF FUSE 6.
There is a fuse on the main fuse box within the car underdash and you can get access with a good flashlight. If the fuse is blown replace, if not check the rear connection of the cigarette lighter as the main +12 or the ground connection on the side of the lighter fittings could have ccome off.
remove and refit the connections.
YOU NEED TO REPLACE CIGARETTE LIGHTER FUSE.LOOK FOR LOCATION IN THE OWNERS MANUAL IN GLOVE COMPARTMENT.CIGARETTE LIGHTER FUSE SHOULD BE IN THE INTERIOR CAR FUSE BOX.
This is a guess, but I suspect that the rental car company disabled the lighter in an attempt to prevent smoking in the car. Lighter and clock are on the same 15A fuse, I believe. Check the fuse.
It's likely just a fuse. Look in the owners manual and find which fuse powers the cigarette lighter, remove it and check to see if it's blown. If so replace it.
