Cigratte lighter not working

Couple of days ago I plugin 12 v heater in my cigarette lighter and they blew up my fuse, later I change the fuse in under hood fuse box and after that only one 12 v lighter on the first row is working but the lighter in the second row and in the hatch is not working. PLZ help me in this issue.

i guess you mean rear, (row2 is like buss/aircraft jargon, ?)
Auxiliary Power Outlet - Console 2 NO.
no there are 3 power jacks just off fuse 3
but 1 ONE MORE in rear is on its own'
fuse 40 apo (aux, power out)
marked APO
AND YET 1 MORE JACK AND FUSE.
OFF FUSE 6.

5 TOTAL.

unless you have something special cigarette lighters are the same. Check the removable section with another from somewhere else and if they are the same the you can get lighters fro good auto spares shops.

sounds like the lighter itself is bad because the fuse for the lighter is the same as the fuse for the connecter in which the inspection machine plugs in to.

if the cigarette lighter stopped working also then I would first suspect a fuse blown. or just a bad fuse connection. try this first. hope this is all it is because it would be an easy fix.

a bad fuse ...keep looking .....otherwise the main acc power/ or ground to all those dash areas has been cut or compromised...retrace your steps backwards
