The red square with the wavy light is a low coolant warning light. The check engine light could be on for many reasons. I would check the coolant and add some if it's low. Then you can take your car to many different places to have the engine code read. Most AutoZones and Advanced Autos and other auto parts places will have a customer use code reader and will pull the code for you for free. I would address the coolant problem asap, low coolant can cause your engine to overheat and blow the engine. The engine light may also just be on because you have the low coolant warning. If that IS the reason for the engine light, after cycling (car gets to normal operating temp then completely cold) the car about 3-5 times the light will go off on it's own. Good Luck!
Sounds like a low coolant indicator.
Is the car running hot? Check and top off coolant (Radiator fluid) but do NOT open radiator cap if the engine has run in the past hour. Most times you top off the fluid by filling seperate reservoir
The owner's manual should have a key to all the dash warning lights, but i'm just going to guess it has something to do with an electronic traction control system.
your antifreeze is low . check you overflow container if its where it should be add a little anyway and see if the problem goes away if so the sensor is bad . another way is find the sensor and unplug it and see if the problem goes away . if its bad i would fix it if i where you its a handy little light to have
