My car is hard to start, it stalls, execive fuel odor, does not rev up
This model car had problem with ECM getting flooded by your air box. The A/C drain getts clogged and water has no place to go but into your computer resulting in computer failure. Check your passenger side floor to see if its wet, by the feet. If it is, thatn water went inside your ECM (computer) and burned vital circuits like the MAF (air flow meter) imput, which is very important for proper operation of vehicle.
Hi,
It could either be a bad injector or a partially defective ECU. It would be required to check any/all injectors to determine if any of them is always engaged and fuel flooding is happening. Alternately, it may be the ECU giving false signals and erroneously triggering the injectors to spray fuel.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.
Thank you for using FixYa.
Remove your exhaust pipe and see if it changes for the better. If it does, your cat converter is plugged up not allowing the exhaust to escape from the engine. Check your MAF sensor. Just tap on the top of it while it's running, if the idle changes, the MAF is on it's way out.
