clutch cables on this car are notorious for breaking up inside and being very hard to depress clutch.
buy a new cable from Suzuki for $45 , top quality.

come back, and lets diagnose car.

SOURCE: HOW DO YOU REMOVE THE RADIO FROM A 1995 GEO TRACKER????????

To remove the radio:
Remove the ashtray by raising the armrest cover and removing the two screws at the rear of the ashtray. Slide the ashtray back and then lift it out. Be careful of the two front tabs, as you don't want to break them.
Reach below the wood console, where the ashtray front tabs were inserted. Loosen and remove the two wing nuts.
With a small, long flat bladed screwdriver, pry out the leather shifter surround. The leather shifter surround has a center chrome retaining ring, the leather surround, and then finally a black plastic surround. The chrome retaining ring has 3-4 tabs which are locked in below the leather surround. It depends on the year of the Jaguar. Probably the 95 has three, but maybe four. They should be at the front and rear of the trim piece (2 front and 1 back, or 2 front and two back) but I've seen then on the sides. The point is, you have to be careful with the screwdriver and find the tabs. The screwdriver should be slid between the leather and the retainer. Pull upwards on the retainer gently, and as you loosen the tabs, it will come out.
Remove the leather surround. Once the chrome retainer has been removed, it should be easy to work it out of the console.
Loosen the black trim ring gently as it has tabs as well, but they are visible once the leather trim has been removed. Lift it upwards out of the wood trim and pull it to the side out of the way. You don't need to disconnect the wires, just lay the black trim to the side.
Lift the rear of the wood console trim and gently, gently slide it back and up. It will try to hang on the leather console, and can be difficult. Patience is important, as the walnut on the ski slope cracks easy (really easy).
Once the wood console trim (ski slope) is removed, you should have a row of screws up the side of the center control panel, where the radio and AC controls are. There are four to six on each side, depending on what Jaguar used at the time, as the 95 cars mechanically are somewhat of a blend of the XJ40 and the XJ300. Remove these screws, and note any spacers that were behind them. These spacers get lost quickly, and cause the ski slope to sit awkwardly on the console.
The radio will slide forwards once these screws are removed. Remove the radio harness and the antenna lead. As the books say, assembly is reverse of removal.
Good luck, and let me know if you have questions. If you are replacing the radio, let me know as I have the harness wiring codes and can help you with that as well.

SOURCE: Geo tracker wont shift after clutch and clutch cable replaced

this is common.
it is caused because NO ON ever changes the cable at 100k miles.
it then wears a groove inside the cable and jams where you cant see.
(got my car dirt cheap cuz no one could figure this out)

the next thing to happen (toss coin) is the fire wall cracks or the clutch pedal spline strips.
full story here,
http://www.kick-fix.com/tranny/clutch/clutch-on-kick.html

now you know the why , so now correct all the damaged caused by a $45 cable.

all parts are at suzuki , every single one.

SOURCE: need torque setting for 1993 geo tracker front

i1m sorry to say that wheel bearings are not set to a torque specification, when you have repacked the bearings [ inner and outer ] ,reassembled it ,take the nut up until thewheel starts to drag and not turn very far when you try to spin it spin it backward and forward several times, grab the top of the wheel and try to push it in and out,if you getany movement at all tighten the nut a couple of castilations. do it all over again, spinthe wheel a few times and then try for the crossways movement again, if there is no movement ,you are very close to being right....................now comes the experience bit , iwould take it one more castilation of the nut because i know the feel that is need ed,,without that i suggest you put the pin in where you ereput the cap on and go for a 5 minute drive . whenyou get back ,jack it up and thespinning of the wheel again and try for the top crossways movement ,if there is any tighten thenut 2 castilations, and provided that when you try to spin the wheel by hand with a reasonably strong push the wheel should trael about 6 inches at least after your hand leaves it ,it is now a close as you are going to get itput it all to gether and for the next day or so put yor hand on the grease cap after you have driven anydistance, and you will feel it is warm but you should be able tohold your hand on the grease cap. there you have it ,any questions come back."youdoit"

Haw do i adjust clutch cable on 1997 geo tracker

the book shows 2 ways
the FSM
1/2in play at pedal or 1/8 " inch at bell lever.
most of these cars the cable is long gone bad inside.
and jams, and in the end, you brake the pedal, arm, or spine or worse.
its all there, play, pedal height,
and links to real FSM pages.

93 GEO TRACKER BRAKE LIGHT STAYS ON

at the risk of saying FSM, the book is free.
and the steps are clear as day, and is linked here.
if you want me to paste the words from a free book then ok, I guess we can do that."spoon fed sure"
possibles, switch bad, or not adjusted per book.
sorry had to say book. very sorry.
i know folks here hate books...
in the military we say, read the book yet?,
"RTMF?"
then hand it to the guy and point to brake chapter.
Please read it and ask questions we say.

so here it is,
the switch ,also has a jam nut and is calibrated, adjusted when installed. the FSM is free, and online and shows how to adjust it. here, ill post the link and page so you can see all steps.
it is common on this car for the nut to come loose and switch stick closed.
chapter 5 page 16 covers this 100%
no need to guess. at all.
URL:
http://www.acksfaq.com/96-FSM-v1-5-pdf.htm

to test the switch for bad.
key on.
remove switch. still wired per figure 13, id 509
if the switch center pin extends fully
and the lamps still glow the switch is for sure bad. (stuck closed or shorted it is...)

and if the pedal is not damaged or spring
this adjustment works, if not, not.
as they say first things, first.
it's just a pedal and 2 springs.
1 on pedal spring
and one inside the switch, must work.
all first things, that must work.

here is the switch with a real photo.
frame 14(clear photos or group restores them, many)

http://www.fixkick.com/tranny/clutch/mikes-clutch91/shrunk/html/image_14.html

the clutch switch left and brake right.above,
another test is to unplug the switch
if the lamps go out, BINGO, switch bad or not adjusted right.

Recap:
pedal not broken, sticking or jammed in any way or bent.
spring on pedal not broken?
pedal returns 100% to up position?
pedal pushes the switch plunger down.?
switch unplugged, lamp goes out.
it is just a simple switch, no magic electronics.
the switch must be calibrated per the page above.
besides the switch this is pure mechanics.
a lever. (pedaL) springs and a simple switch.
