Orange triangle with exclamation mark with circle around it on passat

    what do you mean by genuine bits. and i had the brakes done at a shop less than a year ago could it be something from them. and what does it mean when the symbol is flashing am i still able to drive it to work this morning and wait till friday to fix it?

If memory right its your front brake wear indicator,time for replacements,(use ONLY genuine bits)

    what do you mean by genuine bits? aslo i had the brakes done less than a year ago at a shop could that be a problem as well. And am i still able to drive it to work today and have it fixed tomorrow or is it to serious. And doesnt it change anything when the symbols are blinking

    genuine "bits" is an English term meaning "parts"(for a car).have yet to check symbol for authenticity of comment, so bear with me please. as for driving the car if a symbol is RED stop ....amber is a warning only...

The "Check Engine Light" could be something major, or something as minor as a loose
gasoline filler cap. The only way to know is to find someone who can attach an OBD-II code reader
to your car's ODB-II computer port and talk to your car's on-board computer,and ask it what it thinks
is wrong.
Also, the "Yellow light with the triangle that has an exclamation mark in the middle and a circle going around" could be the SES light (Service Engine Soon), which could mean that everything is fine with the car, except the SES light needed to be reset at the 3400Km oil change, but it wasn't.
In the U.S., Pep Boys and Advance Auto Parts are national parts store chains that will read the ODB-II codes setting your "Check Engine" light free - don't know who will do this free in Canada/U.K., though.

The waring kight with the triangle and exclamation mark is waring you that the brake pads are close to tuoching the disc's the waring sensor on the brake pad has shorted. It's so you do not scrap the disc's.

That is for the tire inflation monitor. Saying that the tire/s pressure needs checked.

think this means you have a light out somewhere ,or the brake fluid is low ,even the windscreen washer level could cause this
