It should be either no Spark or no Fuel. Possible causes: Out of gas, no oil pressure, faulty oil pressure switch, Bad fuel-pump, fuel-pump relay, needs tune-up, defective ignition control module, wrong air/fuel ratio, defective IAC valve or EGR valve. Other causes: Wrong timing, bad compression, or clogged CAT.
The fuel filter should be on the frame rail on the right side below the passengers door area.Just follow the fuel lines from the motor or the fuel tank.
the fuel filter is located on the drivers side under neath where the rear seat would be connected to the frame. relieve fuel system pressure,disconnect negative terminal from the battery,raise rear of vehicleand support it securily on jackstands,detach fuel lines from the filter,some have quick connect . squeeze plastic tabs to pull the connector apart,if it has threaded fiting unscrew the fuel line from the filter.
