Should be the plug wire, I had the same problem here, I took a wire from another car just to check it and sure enough, it was the plug wires, Just replace the whole set and keep a couple for spares. Hope this helps.

Borrowed from OBD Codes.com:
"Basically this means that the the car's computer has detected that not all of the engine's cylinders are firing properly.
A P0300 diagnostic code indicates a random or multiple misfire. If the last digit is a number other than zero, it corresponds to the cylinder number that is misfiring. A P0302 code, for example, would tell you cylinder number two is misfiring. Unfortunately, a P0300 doesn't tell you specifically which cylinder(s) is/are mis-firing, nor why.

What Does Trouble code P0304 mean?

PO304 indicates cylinder #4 is where the miss fire is. could be a spark plug, plug wire, coil, injector, vacuum leak where the intake is at this cylinder, poor compression due too rings/ valve sealing.

What is the meaning of 98 Honda Civic error codes P0300 P0303 P0304? Engine will not start, does not seem to fire.

P0300 indicates that there is multiple miss fire in the ignition system. P0303 and p0304 indicates the miss fire is in cylinder #3 and #4. Replace the spark plug, and wire set, and rotor and cap if there is one. Can not remember if there are coil packs on the civic, the age thing. change the fuel filter and clean out the fuel injectors with fuel injector cleaner for the next 3 full ups. When the spark plugs are removed, inspect them for condition, if there clean or dirty with carbon build up. which would indicate how the engine is running. Keep me posted and drive safe.

    Good Day,

Code P0102 indicates MAF(Mass Air Flow) sensor circuit, low frequency detected

Code P0300 indicates Random Cylider miss fire, meaning missfire in more than one cylinder

The misfire could be a result of the mas air flow sensor being faulty.

    Hope this helps for now
