Disconnect your fuel filter and turn the key on. If it shoots gas several feet away, then the start cycle on the fuel pump is probably good. if not, then get a new fuel pump. If it's good, then the problem will be in your fuel regulator, or injectors.
its the fuel pump going bad and also your fuel filter might need a new filter because if the fuel filter is plugged up to the point that the fuel pump is working too hard to try to pump the gasoline through the filter and can destroy the fule pump so if there is no gasoline coming through the gas lines that means check for filter and pump. Usually some times you can hear the fuel pump working on some models like a humming sound in the back of car.

try resetting the alarm if you take off pipe to carb and there is fule pumping out!!! fule filter is "ok" for starting up on!!! take care working with fule!

Spray some starting fluid in air intake and see if it starts. If yes, replace fuel pump in fuel tank. drop tank for access. About a $250 repair at shop. call around.
Try changing your filter first if that does not work it could be your pump. It is possible for the pump to still pump fuel up through your filter but if it is not putting out sufficient pressure then your car wont start. Most fuel injection systems require around 35psi to fire the injectors.
