1995 Buick Century Questions & Answers
1996 buick century misfire
My 96 century with a 3.1 v-6 gave me fits for years shooting a 171 code(running too lean) I wound up changing the fuel filter and the problem went away. If it's been a while since the filter was changed, try it.
95 buick century transmission only has 1st gear
Check the fluid level and if it low top it up. However I doubt this will fix it. The bad news is that it sounds like your transmission has had it and the only solution is to get it repaired. Take it to a specialist transmission repairer for them to do a diagnosis, but expect bad news.
1995 Buick Century 3.1 Cooling fans not running.
You have done well so far, but this is a hard problem. Have you checked the reference voltage (usually 5vdc) that is going to the temp sensor? It might be getting pulled down by one of the other sensors on that wire. A way to check is to get a baseline voltage on the coolant temp sensor black wire. Then unpulg the map sensor--does the voltage on the black wire increase? If yes, replace the map sensor. If not, next unplug the A/C pressure sensor. Same process. Finally, unplug the transmission temp sensor. If unplugging any of these sensors increases the voltage on the black wire by say a volt, replace the bad sensor and retest.
Can you replace rear metal fuel line with a rubber fuel line on a 1995 buick centry v6
I had a Chev Corsica with V6. The fuel lines that ran straight fore and aft to/from fuel tank were metal. But where comes out of tank it was rubber. I'm assuming you've developed a pinhole leak in one of the metal fuel lines. I would suggest putting a "sleeve" of neoprene fuel line over the leak and clamp in place. This requires cutting the neoprene hose lengthwise so that you can slip it over the bad spot. Jut keep in mind that these fuel lines are under a bit of pressure.
How do you replace a 95 buick century thermostat
Take the top rad hose off the top of the engine and the thermostat housing should be the part you take the hose off of. There probably is two or three bolts that hold this housing on. Carefully take it off and the thermostat should be inside this housing going inside the top of motor. Replace with new one making sure you put a new gasket in place as well and replace housing but do not over tighten the bolts as they sometimes break off then you are in trouble Make sure you install the thermostat the right side up I did get one up side down once and they don't work that way.
Wishing you good luck.

1995 Buick century is stalling ideal to low
You don't mention the engine size or if it's multi-port fuel injected or throttle body injection. At any rate it sounds like a fuel delivery issue. You might try changing the fuel filter. Or have the throttle sensor checked. Best thing to do is to get a repair manual for your make/year/model. I've found the Chilton/Haynes repair manuals, which you can get at your local parts stores or Walmart to be very helpful and they do have trouble shooting that lead to most common issues given the symptoms. It should also have a check engine light coming on with the codes that can be read by an OBD-II reader. It may well need a general tune-up.
Why do I have oil leaking around the egr valve?
Obviously, something besides oil is getting in the crankcase.
Since it isn't fuel, it is probably coolant.
This would be indicative of a leaking head gasket.
How is your radiator coolant level?
