On your Dodge Truck the wiring connector for the headlight switch has a tendency to melt and the connection will become loose causing the headlights to flicker. To fix this you will need to replace the wiring connector to the headlight switch.
Most likely cause is a weak relay. Find the headlight relay in the fuse box and swap it with a like relay from another circuit. If this fixes your problem replace the defective relay. If a new relay does not fix the problem you will need to monitor amperage draw along the headlight circuit to find what is causing the excessive amperage.
Most of these headlight units use star screws so you need a starbit Also they use plastic clip like bolts. \you can get these items at most auto parts stores. This is not a real hard job but u may have to remove the front cover under the hood to get to some of the screws,

Well to start with, what are we trying to fix? What is wrong with the headlights. Do they not work at all? Do the Low Beams not work? Do the High Beams not work? Is the vehicle equipped with daytime running lamps (DRL)? There are a LOT of parts and a LOT of wires that are involved in your headlamps. If I knew what we were trying to fix, at least I could narrow it down by about fourty acres!
You will need to go under the hood, in front of the radioator will bean area were you can get to the headlights, just pull out and replace the bulbs. push back into place and you should be all set.
The only thing that all of your problems have in common is the light switch and the dash wiring harness. The stereo is linked to the light switch because of it's illumination feature' You need to test the light switch with a test light by probing the wires at it's plug.
