I need help findind my starter on my 1995 monte carlo its 3.4 v6 engine could you please help me with a diagram showing where abouts it is? Thank you

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the engine oil cooler assembly.
  3. If equipped with an automatic transaxle, unfasten the flywheel inspection cover bolts, then remove the cover.
  4. Detach the electrical connections from the starter.

  1. Unfasten the starter motor retaining bolts, then remove the starter.


  2. To install:

    WARNING Before installing the starter to the engine, make sure the electrical terminals are secure by tightening the nut next to the cap on the solenoid battery terminal. If this terminal is not tight, starter damage may occur.
    1. Secure the electrical terminal on the solenoid. Tighten the solenoid battery terminal inside nut to 84 inch lbs. (9.5 Nm). -27 inch lbs. (22-27 Nm).
    2. Position the starter motor, then install the retaining bolts. Tighten the bolts to 32 ft. lbs. (43 Nm).
    3. If equipped, install the flywheel inspection cover and tighten the retaining bolts to 89 inch lbs. (10 Nm).
    4. Install the engine oil cooler assembly
    5. Connect the negative battery cable.

Uh, the actual firing order is 1 2 3 4 5 6. There should be a sticker under hood that shows proper wire routing to the 3 coilsI need help with the 97 3.1 v6 monte carlo ls firing order?

What is the firing order and distributer rotation for a 1985 Monte Carlo 4.3L V6.

2005 Monte Carlo 2800. Belt Broken. No diagram need diagram

Hello carsongore: y name is Roger and I will help you.I attached a picture of the 3.8 non super charged engine. You did not state if yours was super charged or not. The belt routing is the same on both engines. The difference would be the separate belt for the charger. Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the answer. 1995 Chevy Monte Carlo

you need to take the upper and lower steering column covers off, should be 3 screws in bottom, take tilt steering lever out if neccessary, it is a 2 peice cover, take apart, change switch and put back together

Can't find all spark plugs

Well seeing as u don't specify the year or engine u have in ur monte carlo, it's kinda har to tell u where they are.If it's a V6, the 3 rear sparkplugs are behind the engine under the manifold. Most times the rear engine mount must be removed and the engine preid to reach the sparkplugs from underneath.
