If your battery died or you replaced battery, disconnect the postive terminal from battery. insert key into igniation to on position (not start) then reconnect the battery postive terminal.

If the cruise lamp comes on and the cruise does not set i would advise inspecting the cruise cable and make certain it is not broken, if ok the the servo has likely failed.

try disconnecting the battery cables from the battery for up to a half hour and then reconnect them. im not sure if this will work for you but i have seen it work on some other vehicles, it couldnt hurt to try... hope this does it for ya
