P01684 just says that the battery has been disconnected within the past 50 starts. If you have already replaced the TPS and still get the P0122 code, it could be a short in the wiring or a problem with your Powertrain Control Module. Other names for the PCM is ECM and ECU. Yes the car will fail to start due to this error code p1496.Its possible. Description of code P1496 is 5 Volt Supply Output Too Low. But to locate the exact fault you will need to do some troubleshooting. The 5 V ref. can be low for a couple reasons. 5V is supplied to several engine sensors, like the crank, cam, Map, etc. It's not uncommon on chryslers for one of the sensors to short the 5 V. reference voltage and get that code. To check if a sensor is bad and shorting the ref. just check for voltage on the 5V ref as you unplug each sensor. If the 5 V. ref. returns, the last sensor you unplugged is the shorted sensor. It's usually the crankshaft sensor, but not always. If the 5 V. ref. still is shorted after unplugging all sensors that receive 5V. ref, check for 5 V. at the PCM. If it's present at the PCM, there's an open or short after the PCM. If there isn't 5V ref at the PCM, it's probably a bad PCM. That is a 5 volt supply too low. You will want to check the connections at the MAP and TPS sensors. --------

Resetting the security code will not help the car start if you have a TPS (throttle position sensor) problem.
If the TPS is far enough out of position or has a faulty electrical connection then the proper voltage by the TPS cannot be read by the engine computer to thus calculate fuel mixture and spark timing.

Considering the rest of the DTC that you are seeing, it is highly suspect that you have a simple break in a wiring harness. Check your wiring and sheaths to all of your sensors up to and including any corrosion or breakage on the connectors, all the way back to the multi-connector on the computer.
