You either have a bad Idle air control valve or your injectors are clogged. Try turning the steering wheel and turning on the AC and fan. If the idle goes down the IAC is bad. A normal IAC should raise the idle a little then settle when a load is put on th engine.

I have a 2005 ram 1500 4x4.when i put it four wheel drive high it feels like its in low and back tire on driver side skids

There's something seriously wrong in the transfer case or controls. It seems the rear driveshaft is locked up, and the front wheels are driving. The driver's side rear tire is skidding because it's trying to turn backward - rear passenger rear tire is going forward and rear differential has no option but to turn the driver tire in reverse (driveshaft locked). DON'T TRY TO DRIVE IT. Get it checked out and fixed.

Differential carrier

if you have rear wheel drive you could have a broke C LOCK on the inside of the differential whicn means you have to remove rear differential cover to replace C LOCK on driver side.

1995 chevy silverado 350 TBI V8 standard powerloss

have you checked the filter, i know you state the fuel lines are clear though. likely fuel injectors have lost flow. the TBI injectors can be cleaned, but i usually just replace them. but check them using a timing light hooked to the coil wire for timing of each injector spray. the pattern under the light should be even and conical shape, no major spatter. if one shows low volume, the other one should be replaced at same time, it will save you having to change it when you put brand new next to old one a have same problem again. only replace with brand new, i've had 7 bad remanufactured injectors on one truck at one point in time, only replace with new!

Does my truck have abs brakes? It is 4x4 1992 chevy 1500

Your truck is equipped with RWAL or rear wheel anti-lock. This just worked on the rear brakes(duh) but the speed sensor was taken from the speedometer drive at the transmission tailshaft, and would allow one rear wheel to lock as long as the speedo kept turning. Later models were improved with wheel speed sensors at each wheel.

Rear wheels on 2000 super duty f250 skid in reverse only

I hate to say it but it sounds like you have a severe problem in the rear end. Here are a couple of things i would do. First pull off your tires and wheels. Of course you need to put the truck on jack stands and block the wheels for safety! Disconnect your rear drive line so you know nothing from front diff or trans could be affecting it. Next spin the brake rotors by hand and inspect them for severe damage. Go forwards and backwards. Also listen in your rear end for grinding or clunking noises and also excessive play front foward to reverse. And last drain your oil and put your finger up inside the housing as far as you can and feel for large pieces that should not be there. This should give you a good idea if it is in your braking sytem your rear end or wether you need to start looking at front diff. or the trans. If all is good on rear end do the same thing for front diff and inspect it as well. Make sure you pull front driveline off!

Rear drivers wheel locks up in drive is o.k. in reverse

If no oil on the driver side, you have a locked up parking brake pivot. Follow the park brake cable to the inside plate of the rear wheels. on the outside, where the cable connects, look to see the position of the visible mechanism connected to the cable. It probably will not match the side that is not locked up. This is a very common problem; you need to replace the park brake pivot. Additionally, you are going to need to remove the other side axle shaft and get the leaking oil seal replaced. Replace the brake shoes if they have oil on them.
