There is a switch in the door jamb that often goes bad and keeps on chiming.Replace it or you can take it out and seperate the two wires to stop the connection and the chiming.Hope this helps.
I had the same problem and it turned out I had two things not working at the same time.. First the switch that is part of the door latch. Fixed by taking out 1 torx screw that holds the window crank in place and 4 phillips screws on the door. Could then get to the latch and the attached switch. WD40'd the switch for now. Will use silicone lube next time. Second problem was in the ignition switch. There is a tiny key in/key out switch that snaps into the ignition switch. Removing 3 phillips screws from underneath the cowling gave me access. A small plastic switch with a black wire attached had broken and fallen out of the ignition switch. I used crazy glue and glued it back in place.
