need to remove the door panel --it can be done annoying but still can get it off and check linkage or have a locksmith or auto service that do lockouts then remove panel
Remove the key cylinder n get it from the dealer.key turn to no1 position,press the release plug at the bottom of key cylinder,u should take off the key cylinder,simply to install it back on the car with the new key on the new cylinder,slide it in to the steering column.u need to have little bit auto repair background.gd luck
try another key. the key could be worn where read coil in the ignition switch lock cylinder and immobilizer control module and ecm dont recognize ignition key or ignition switch key lock cylinder failing.
Make sure the car is FULLY in park. The ignition will be locked into one position if the gear shifter is between gears. While holding the brake on as if you were starting the car, pull the steering wheel as far right as you can and use some muscle to hold it with one hand and then try to turn the key to on. If this is not working try holding the steering wheel all the way to the left and repeat the exercise.
