Should be located on the drivers side of the frame under the drivers door i do believe. it will be toward the inside of the frame so you have to get under the car to actually see it.

If my GMC Jimmy will not start and my car has a full tank of gas and a good battery what can cause this. My car sounds like it wants to start but just is not able to. Fuel Filter?

Fuel filter, but most likely a worn out fuel pump. The engine needs 62 - 65 PSI to start the engine. Anything less then that, the engine will not start. Start with the simple and check all your fuses and then check the fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge connected to the shredder valve.
The valve is located on the fuel line by the distributor drivers side, if the fuel pressure is less then that. Replace the fuel pump and the wire harness from the frame to the fuel sending unit.
Thank you for using fixya and good luck.
