You have an exposed electrical source and/or a fan belt that is slipping when it get wets. When the belt slips, voltage drops and ignition is very voltage sensitive. Check you fan belt if it seems loose and or glazed (smooth)
The jaguar gears get stuck normally if you're parked on an incline. Its a default Jaguar will not acknowledge. rock the car back and forth a couple times and it will shift. Hope this helps good luck!
Check the fault codes - this sounds like a mixture / spark problem. you may have a faulty lambda sensor or mass air flow sensor problem as well, they can all cause this effect. Get the codes checked first.
