Check your owners manual, it lists what the manufacturer recommends. Next, check with the dealer, as some dealers 'add' services for some maintenance intervals, as a way to inflate their bill and profit margin. Go with what the manufacturer recommends. If you don't have the owners manual, let me know, I may be able to locate a download of it for you.

Maintenance Minder 6 Scheduled Maintenance
Recommended service for your 2006 Honda Ridgeline:

Replace VTM-4 rear differential fluid: Driving in mountainous areas at very low vehicle speeds or trailer towing results in higher level of mechanical (shear) stress to fluid or frequently fully loaded. This requires differential fluid changes more frequently than recommended by the Maintenance Minder. If you regularly drive your vehicle under these conditions, have the differential fluid changed at 7,500 miles (12,000 km), then every 15,000 miles (24,000 km).

What is the recommended service for 2004 chevy

Service your cooling system every 5 years or 150,000 miles. The GM Dex Cool has a life of 5 years or 150,000 miles which ever comes first. Replace the thermostat also and buy the fail safe thermostat, it cost a bit more but worth it.

Service the engine (spark plugs and wire) every 100,000 miles or till engine management prompt attention. (service engine light DTC code)

Service the transmission every 3 years or 60,000 miles, replace the transmission oil and filter. Transfer case fluid and differential fluid.

Service the engine oil and filter every 6 months or 3,000 miles. Lube Chassis

Service the air filter and cabin air filter, wiper blades every 15,000 miles or once a year.

Fuel Filter for Sport Trac

If the car is running good no engine problems or poor gas mileage I wouldn't worry about it. This is done as preventive maintenance. Every tune-up parts have replacement recommended periods. Ignition components, all filters and lubricants should all be replaced the most every six moths depending on how much you drive. Its all common sense if you check your oil and its black its time to change it. If your brakes are screeching same thing and if it been six month probably well over 15,000 miles since you replaced the fuel filter it'll be a good idea to change it.

Required maintenance

Replace the spark plugs at 60,000 miles

Replace the timing belt at 90,000 miles

Change the auto trans fluid every 30,000 miles

Change the coolant at 60,000 miles

Replace the air filter every 15,000 miles.

That is about it. Not much else is required.

Thanks for choosing FixYa for assistance, a FixYa rating (4 blue diamonds) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

How often to change tranny fluid?

The Lexus Severe Maintenance Schedule is every 60,000 miles which should be in your owners manual, dealers sometimes make up their own.

Timing belt and routine maintenance

I would get the belt from Mitsubishi because their belt seems to last in your situation.

2008 Scion XD

I don't know for sure, but I'd imagine oil, oil filter, and air filter changes, tire rotation, brake and strut inspection, and maybe a cabin air filter change. Look in your owner's manual near the back - each service should be spelled out in there so you don't go in unprepared.
