Hi Anonymous:
Sometimes it helps to locate the PCV valve if you can find the tube that connects the engine crankcase to the intake manifold. The PCV valve will be a thumb sized (My thumb anyway) metal (or maybe plastic) cylinder that is part of the tube assembly.
This is the 2001-2012 Toyota Tacoma wiring diagram, Toyota Tacoma IAT (Intake Air Temperature) Sensor Location and the Toyota Tacoma MAF (Mass Air Flow) Sensor Location, also included is a pinout of the sensor. You are likely installing a performance chip or a cold air intake kit for increased HP (Horsepower). You will want to be sure to disconnect the car battery before adding performance products.
I'm not sure exactly where it is but they are always on one of the valve covers. it is shaped like an "L" and will have one vacuum hose connected to it and it inserts into a rubber grommet on the valve cover.
The expansion valve is located inside the evaporator box. the book gives you about 1.4 hours to change it but if your not sure about working on ac systems I would recommend using a licensed repair facility.
give this website a try to see if they have your car listed it www.autozone.com if they do not stop at a local toyota dealer in the part department and i am sure they would print you out a diagram for your truck
