I have been away for two weeks and upon my return I have found that my battery has died. With the car being locked I have no chance of opening the bonnet. Is there any thing that I can do to get into the car to open the bonnet?
Hi hi tricky one if you carn't open a door with a bent welding rod you might get at the bonnet release by removing the grill if you have a towbar with carravan electrics /2sockets try charging the battery throgh the socket if all else fails you will have to remove the rear window /it's easier than the front screen hope this helps merlinv12
Some lock out kits have a stiffer long bar that you can sneak all the way over to the opposite door to hit the open button. Perhaps something like that could hit the switch in the middle.

This button is in the middle of the car. the key that you mention is in glove box. ( silly me)
Thanks for that.
I have decided to get Nissan road side assistance out to get me in.I forgat they had this service.
Thanks Again
Can you use your steel key/ valet key to open the door, and then pop the hood to get to the battery. If you don't have one you could try to unlock the door by using a coat hanger to hit the "Unlock" button on the door.
