idk for certain in this particular example, but places to check for fuel filters on cars that era are in engine bay maybe on firewall in fuel line that leads to fuel rail, or, if not in engine bay, back at tank end especially if car has tank mounted electric fuel pump.
If the Cirrus is a 2.5L change the Crank Sensor. The Haynes manual has a good step by step. This sensor will cause a no start. The cam sensor, coil, are built into distributor, and can not be replaced.Less you buy a recon. or new unit.Other problem would be the engine computer.
try google and ask the question "where is the location of the crankshaft position sensor for 1997 chysler cirrus 2.5 liter engine" or you can go to a parts store and ask for there help, or buy a repair manual it will show you the location.
The ignition coil for the 2.5L engine is located in the distributor
housing. If the ignition coil is defective, the distributor assembly
must be replaced.
the fuel filter is part of a fuel line assembly on the top of the gas tank, u must drop the fuel tank down to replace the filter and line assembly, see picture of line and filter assembly below.
The fuel pump does and a "Sock type filter" but each Chysler is so different when it comes to fual filters. I do mot know if this model has one or not but if you call a Chrysler dealer, and ask for parts or auto part store they will know for sure.
