You can get guide from many sites.. i know few
error codes/ fault codes, wiring diagrams, schematic diagrams, torque specs, engine info, switches functioning, assemble, disassembly, complete refurbish, repair, installation every single thing is covered
within seconds u can get the access and it's totally illustrative complete

Check engine light on? Take it to auto zone and ask them to check the computer for an error code. Have seen that problem on a Nissan except the dead battery part. Will start and run after cooling off. The problem was a bad crankshaft position sensor. Replaced it and no more problem.
Good luck.

it may be the cam sensor or the crank sensor. take an ohm meter to check them to see if they are any good

Look on the throttle body for a little cylinder with an electrical connector on it. Use the handle of screwdriver to give that a few whacks while someone starts the engine after it starts, give a few more whacks. Engine running now? Replace the Intake Air Control motor. or IAC.
SOURCE: where is the temperature sensor for a ford e-150
1994 Ford Truck E150 1/2 ton Van 5.8L MFI 8cyl Temperature Switch is located:
Front seating area, center, under engine cover, front
driver side of intake manifold, mounted in engine
block.
The ECT sensor (Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor) is located either in the heater supply tube at the rear
of the engine, or in the lower intake manifold. The ECT sensor is a
thermistor (changes resistance as temperature changes). The sensor
detects the temperature of engine coolant and provides a corresponding
signal to the PCM. From this signal, the PCM will modify the air/fuel
ratio (mixture), idle speed, spark advance, EGR and canister purge
control. When the engine coolant is cold, the ECT sensor signal causes
the PCM to provide enrichment to the air/fuel ratio for good cold
drive-away; as engine coolant warms up, the voltage will drop.

I hope help you with this, good luck (remember rated this help).
