A bad alternator or bad battery ? (either one can break the other!), because, you need to do some preventive maintenance every year, on the battery cables!

Folks who do not do a bit of housekeeping on their vehicles are the ones who tend to blame the vehicle and call it names... as if any of that helps one bit!

Check engine light on? Take it to auto zone and ask them to check the computer for an error code. Have seen that problem on a Nissan except the dead battery part. Will start and run after cooling off. The problem was a bad crankshaft position sensor. Replaced it and no more problem.
Good luck.

Truck dies going down the road and then to start it back you have to roll down electric window

Has it ever started without cranking down the windows?

IF it is true, then you have a Wire / Ground / Hot issue

Died and wont crank

If it died and won't crank, sounds like you lost power to something.
Does the warning lights come on when you turn the key on ?
Got headlights ?
A mechanic would check for voltage at the starter and work back from there.

I have a 2004 cummins that just died on me going down the highway, I got it over on the side of the road. And tried to crank it back up. It started but instantly died when I hit the throttle. It did that...

I've had it happen to me more than once and I fix the issue over 50 x what's going on if your fuel pump is going out it's not going out it's already out and once you replace your fuel pump and your fuel filter your car should be back to normal home skillet

Truck died going down the road replaced crank sensor coil pack and timing chain spark is red not a blue color could it be the ecm truck cranks but wont start

If it is indeed a spark issue. You might have to replace the Ignition Module. On the other hand... check the throttle body to make sure that it is getting fuel... if it's not, you might just need to replace the fuel pump.

Died, cranks but won't start.

if its not your fuel pump!! is it getting any gas, if its getting gas, then it could be crank sensor or cam sensor. check for spark also!!
