SOURCE: troubleshooting air conditioner thermostat 1995 nissan pickup hardbody

The thermostat is located where the lower radiator hose goes into the engine. I've had to replace mine, and it took a while to find it. I found the easiest way to get at it is to remove the power steering pump (hoses attached) and set it over to the side to get at the bolts on the thermostat housing.

Good luck!

SOURCE: How do you remove the door panel of a 1995 Nissan XE Pickup

Not sure about the 95, but to remove it on my 94 i just pulled on once corner till the fastener poped out, then worked slowly around removing each fastener. Be careful as the the door pannel is quite flimsy but if the 95 is the same as the 94 it should be fairly easy to remove.

SOURCE: 1995 nissan pickup throttle position sensor

ok on a 2.4l on the black/green and white wires use ohm meter and there is no specific spec for that engine just make sure the the resistance changes and there is no dead spots. for the 3.0l black and white wires specs are 1.0-9.0k ohms im guessing the specs are the same either engine. close to full open

My 1995 Nissan pickup will start sometimes and sometimes won't. The motor will turn over but just won't start sometimes. It is mot the starter.

When it is not starting, spray a little starting fluid into the air intake then try again. If it fires then dies it is fuel trouble. if it doesn't fire it is lack of spark. If the fuel seems to be the source then suspect a loose connection in the fuel pump circuit. Try unplug and plugging the connections in the fuel pump circuit, fuel pump relay etc.

1995 nissan pick up 4X4 v6 died. will turn over, pumping fuel. has spark. won't start. was accidentally over filled with oil?

Check the spark plugs for oil contamination. The PCV valve will pick up oil and send it into the intake manifold then fouling the plugs

Its a 1995 eclipse gs. Cranks but doesnt start. The fuel pump kicks in and fuel rail has gas flowing. Its just backfires and sounds bad in general. Ive had several people look at it and no one can so

There are few possibilities that cause such problems.
No start problem,backfire issues.
I suggest you few help links related to these issues.

Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities. It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty ignition coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.

To confirm the problem, the basic troubleshooting is required.

Itune up my 1995 truck it start to miss I replay all the wire and sparkplugs oxengsencer and after that it started to missfireing.

Ck that you didn't crack the porcelain on the spark plugs when installing. Maybe put old plugs back in if its not too much trouble. Are you sure you installed the wires correctly?
