I have a 2007 Honda Crv. It won't go pass 2000 rpm. This happened after we replace the starter. We done almost everything to try to fix the problem to the rpm. Is there something we are overlooking?

3.switch ignition on
4. SRS lamp should illuminate for 6 seconds
5.disconnect the bridge wire within 4 seconds of the warning lamp extinguishing
6.SRS lamp should illuminate 2 times, Codes erased
7.switch ignition off

SOURCE: Trying to access crv starter

Yes looking top view will be hard to work on. I find it easy to get to from under the car and its the best way to work on it. If you going to do it yourself, for the safety, you will need two floor jack stands one for each side which will allow the car to rest ON and able you to lay and work under the car. make sure you set the emergency brakes and disconnect the battery. With this downturn economy, I bet if you post or look on craiglist you might find a mechanic willing to do for cheap. Lots of mechanic are out of jobs and looking for work and needing side work. In your case if you dont want to get dirty; don't have the time or have metric tools, I would find mechanic willing to do it for 50 to 75 bucks. Get a rebuilt starter which will cost half compare to new one. New would run you 140+ and used or rebuilt 50 to 75 bucks saving 75.00 which you can save and use that pay someone to do for you. The total cost would be 140-150 bucks out of your pocket. starter is easy access from the bottom, would take anyone about 30 minutes once the car is up.

Here is a site on how to replace it. But first make sure that the leak is at the thermostat and not a hose or a bad water pump. This can be done by using a cooling system pressure pump and putting the cooling system under pressure then looking for the source of the leak. A parts store may let you borrow a pump, or let a mechanic test the system for you. Always make sure that there is no pressure on the cooling system by squeezing the radiator hose before attempting to remove the radiator cap.

I am driving Honda CRV 2007 automatic . My left side headlight and park light are not working I believe is to due to starter which was fixed a while ago. I want to know if it is true ?

It's possibe since much of the work is done on that side. Battery and intake need to come out on the drivers side. Possible a wire connection was left disconnected.
Check fuses too and wires at the back of the headlight.

Honda CRV 2007 Have you ever had the starter click and you can't get your car to strart on the first turn , but it starts on the second turn. The dealership told me I was not turning my key fast enough....

The starter motor solenoid is worn out .possible the starter motor brushes could be worn out also...engine hot. This will be apparent. Replace starter motor and have the flywheel ring gear inspect for worn or missing teeth. Replace with new ...prefer not rebuilt starter motor.

Replacing the starter solenoid on a '07 Honda CRV

No. the solenoid has a plunger that hooks onto the arm that pushes the pinion into the ring gear just before the starter motor starts to spin. There is an adjustment at the pivot that has to be set for the new solenoid

Honda crv 04' key won't turn over & I'm stranded

if your battery isnt dead (try boosting it) then check to make sure the car is in park all the way and try again if nothing happens you need a new starter. alot of people dont put the shifter all the way back to park and that keeps it from starting.

Trouble shoot a 2007 honda crv starter

Take the starter off for testing. If the lights were normally bright, and went dim when key was in cranking position, it means the start circuit is working-battery power is going to the starter, but it won't do anything. The starter motor is probably bad.
Good luck.
