Which cylinder is number 1 and which post on distilled cap is number 1
On front-wheel-drive cars and minivans, the firing order is either 1-6-5-4-3-2 or 1-2-3-4-5-6.
rear-wheel-drive cars and trucks, one version of the engine has the firing order 1-5-3-6-2-4, while the alternate version has the firing order 1-2-3-4-5-6
Check the top of the cap for a 1 or a dot or any mark that should be number one.
I need year and model? I looked at specification guides for vehicles, all the 3.4L I found were fwd/ front wheel drive, and no distributor, had a coil pack. The model year would help.
On fwd 3.4L, the number one piston, looking under the hood, is rear bank left.
