That's about it. We turn on the air conditioning and it goes off. Not the locks on the doors follow suit they go off and on. Staying on.

Hi
If the fuses are all ok and you can hear the aircon clutch clicking when you attempt to switch it on, then I think it may be time for a re-gas! You could do it yourself with a can of gas from an autofactors, but you wouldn't get the pressure right, and, there would still be old gas in there.
If you took it to a garage, however, they would **** out all the old gas, and then hold the vacuum in there for a while to check for any leaks. Then they would refill to the exact pressure with fresh new gas.

Geordie

It sounds like your electronic vent actuator has gone bad, it's common to go bad and may need to be replaced. There are tinny gears that wear out and the vent actuator stops working. You can try this, turn the radio off first so you don't have to enter the reset code to activate your radio. Disconnect the battery for 30 seconds and reconnect it, if the actuator has lost it's base line and stuck in the open heat position, this will reset it, just make sure the setting is to cold and off before disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. If this does not work, then it's a bad actuator and Auto Zone should have the part you need and will have the step by step instructions for you to the job you self, I believe the dealer is a $415,00 repair cost for this. Good luck and keep me posted.

The blend door is getting stuck in the HVAC housing. Common problems for jeep. Replace the HVAC blend door. hope this helps.
SOURCE: air conditioning
This is most often caused by a defective air temperature blend door motor, this is whhat controls the temp of the air coming out the dash register vents, the actuator is deep in the dash, u must remove the entire dash assembly to replace the part.
