Hello, my name is Chuck. I have one of your Farenheat in wall 220 volt heaters from about 25 years ago. The mini 150 degree thermal cut out finally failed. Product information to follow.

CAT NOS. FFH-BB and FFH 1614S. Not sure what these identifiers are DW0240537-4-000 and 774G. Can you help at all?

If you are getting a lean code, shouldn't you be looking for a vacuum leak?the lean code you are getting is a symptom, and not the cause if the O2 sensor is working properly-use some throttle body cleaner and spray around hoses, intake gaskets, EGR, etc., you probably have a leak somewhere.

First check for external leaks. Did you change the air filter?. Then check the oxygen censer should be around.5 volts, check if the brakes are binding. check the valve timing it may have jumped a tooth. check the ignition timing and make sure the computer advances the timing as the engine speeds up.

My farenheat fu54 heater just stopped working. Power to it is fine any suggestions on how to diagnose the problem

you said it has power, is it before or after the wire from the fuse you have checked, check the power wire that goes after the fuse. the fuse may need to replace, and if all is good and still does not work. check also the thermal cutout, This device protects the unit from overheating, it may already faulty (it may be always in off if its already faulty), here's other to look for , power supply, heating element, Power switches, thermo couple(if any), sensors..

Hi Shawn, your thermostat may be stuck open, not letting your coolant heat up.check this first.here's a link on how to replace, GET 25 GIFT CARD FOR EVERY 100 SPENT ON ONLINE SHIP TO HOME ORDERS After removing, look at it,it should be closed,to see if it is working, boil water to 180 degrees with thermostat in pot,it should open at 180,remove from water and it should close,if it's doing this, then it's good,is your water pump working properly,no leaks. Here's another link to your heater core, GET 25 GIFT CARD FOR EVERY 100 SPENT ON ONLINE SHIP TO HOME ORDERS I am fixing to replace my heater core in my 85 Nissan 720 truck, did it 10 years ago,my heat still works, but my windows fog up super fast, which means it's leaking, can put my hand on the carpet by the heater core and feel coolant,it's a job.

I have a 1988 ford f-150 xlt lariat with a 302.my battery keeps going dead.I pulled the battery terminals off while running and turned on headlights and fan blower and it didnt shut off, does this mean

Check and make sure no interior lights are on, the most common is the vanity lights in the visor drawing the battery down or the interior lights coming on at night from a defective switch inside one of the doors

Is there a complete service manual for 1981 Ford F 150 in digital or print. Plan to rebuild one for a gift. Know nothing about cars. Changed a tire 16 years ago.

Yes, there are both. You can find some good oones on ebay and you can find the manuals at any parts store. The paper manuals run less than $25. DVD's vary.
