Where is egr valve located on 02 buick rendezvous

This is the electrically driven secondary air injection air pump. Please read all the information at the link before you buy or replace any parts. In most cases the entire air injection pump assembly must be replaced.

The trouble code should tell you which 02 sensor? The 02 sensors are in the exhaust, sensor 1/sensor2, whatever, bank 1/bank2, whatever, before the cat, after the cat. You have several 02 sensors in the exhaust, don't know which one?
You should be able to remove/install with proper size wrench or deep socket. They do make an 02 sensor socket that has that slot in it, not sure if you need that, though.

the EGR should be somewhere on your exhaust manifold

A faulty egr would not create a high idle issue. if an egr valve were to open while idling then it would create a heavy stumbling engine or it would die right out. if there is a check engine light on (or service engine soon light) have the codes pulled. Failing that then I suggest taking it to a reputable shop

The evaporator drain tube a 2003 Buick Rendezvous is very difficult to find. It will be located on the firewall, in the middle or on the passenger side. You might have to get under the vehicle to find it.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There is no P0402 listen in factory service repair manual for this vehicle . Your best bet , take it to a buick dealer . Some after market scanners pull wrong code's ,take it to where they have factory tool an have genuine gm parts! A P0402 in older vehicles was for a EGR system problem ! Your vehicle does not have an EGR valve . Has a Camshaft Actuator System

P0017 cam position sensor actuator system. This is for the exhaust side, This is not the cam position sensor, This is the actuator,Manufacuter has done away with EGR valves and the ability to do away with valve overlap,The cam sensor actuator is either plug from lack of oil maintance ot just doesnt work,Yes you can take it out and clean the ports with brake cleaner or carb cleaner.The location is at the front of the cylinder head

try cleaning the EGR hose.

First have a diagnostics test done. It sounds like the throttle position sensor is out, or the EGR valve. The EGR valve will most likely be the cheapest part for replacement, and the most likely issue; however this is why I suggest a diagnostics test. If you cannot afford a technician (recommended) then I suggest having a local parts dealer (call around first) do this for you (usually a free service) to identify which part(s) (codes will be listed) need replaced.
