I own a 2003 rendezvous and the 2 front power outlets do not work. i checked the fuses and they both are fine. I have a 3rd outlet in the rear that works perfectly fine. What could be the problem?
Fuse #14 is for REAR auxillary power outlet (in cargo area). This is located in the INSIDE fuse box to the left of and under the glovebox (to the left of the front passenger's feet).
Fuse #32 is for FRONT Power Outlets/cigarette lighter//Lights, OnStar® Fuse 32 is under the hood in the ENGINE AREA fuse box located in the compartment just above the battery.DOUBLE CHECK YOUR MANUAL to make sure that your fuses are the same. I have a 2003 Rendezvous. Your newer model may be different. The diagrams for each fuse box can be found inside the lids of the compartments.
How are the outlets ?? are they loose ??
have you connected car chargers, radars,accesories,etc... ??
if so the problem may be inside, the tent to unsxrew from the ground connector, very common
There is also a fuse under the hood in the "relay" box. Will get you every time. Nobody thinks to check there....
Both of our rear outlets are dead due to melting of the plastic around the power connector. Am trying to find replacements, what a chore.

2002 rendezvous, same problem just started. I don't understand the advice that was given. Is this DIY at all or do I have to pay someone to take it apart? I need the outlets for GPS, cell phone etc. Why does the one facing the 2nd row not work, but the farthest one back does if it is not a fuse problem?

I have the same problem on my 2005.
This appears to be an epidemic. when i first got my 2003 used, the front two outlets did not work. i checked the fuse and, sure enough, it was blown. after i replaced it, i pluggd in a cell phone charger and the fuse immediately blew again. i went through 2 more fuses trying to trouble shoot the cause of the short.
