2005 Honda Accord passenger door doesn't open from inside or outside

Probably the link rod that operates the release lever for the door lock has broken or come off. You will obviously have to have the door open to remove the inner door panel to access it. Try winding the window down and having a look down inside the door with a torch to see where the lever is and try and push / pull it with a coat hanger to open the door.

My door doesn't open from the inside. And the handle isn't broken, already check!

It has become disconnected. You will have to remove the inner door panel and see if the connecting lever is still attached and if the clip holding is still good. Check first, by trying to unlock your car with the key from outside... this is a good first check to determine if the lever is still attached.

Door won't open on the outside or inside after using a slim jim

you probably pulled the rod off of the handle lever. once you get into the truck. take off your inner door panel and re connect those rods. there should be 3 screws on the bottom of the inner door panel. remove those and then lift the panel up and out.

Why does my 2005 explorer have no air from defrost vent, but other vents are ok

I just fixed mine. It would NOT get air to the defroster. The lever that opens and closes a door that directs the air flow to the defroster was broken. To be more specific, the plastic lever the actuator attaches to was broken. The actuator and the vacuum system were operating properly. It is simple to see but hard to get to. Remove the glove box and look up and to the left for a silver vacuum controlled actuator and arm. I was able to fabricate another lever and attach it to what was left of the OEM lever.

Left drivers door will not open from inside it does open from outside how to repair

you will need to remove inner door panel, either the handle itself broke where the rod connects,or the rod fell off or broke at the door latch, or the door latch lever bent or corrodded, the outer and inner handles use the same door latch but not the same mechanisms or rods to operate the latch. Once you remove the door panel and the inner dust shield with the window up look in the bottom of door for clips or a rod or broken parts. and note latch and handle for boken or bent and missing pieces. once you start looking it all becomes self explanatory.

Hom to replace air cabid filter for 2005 hnda accrd v6

The cabin air filter, which is part of the AC system, is normally accessed behind the glove compartmant door.

Open the glove compartment door and GENTLY press inward on the door supports to release them. You will see a white plastic cover. Remove it. The cabin air filter is there.

My 2000 e46 bmw heater blower not working, i've checked the fuse

The E46 blower resistor is harder to remove than the E39 .
Open the Glove box.
Remove the three phillips screws across the top of the open box. Remove the two phillip screws that are deeper in on the sides of the open box(nine and three o'clock). Hard to see, use your flashlight. With these five screw removed remove the glove box. Disconnect the flashlight charger plug, and the glove box light connector. Pay attention to the wire routing. Remove plastic cover behind glove box. Locate motor and metal link to one of the a/c doors. Remove the metal arm from the plastic clip. Slide motor out and disconnect. There is an odd shaped black plastic piece with two T-20 or 25 Torx screws that need to be removed.Remove plastic piece. The Final stage is located behind the metal arm for the a/c door.R emove the floor heater duct for more room. You may or may not feel the need. If you wish pull on the leather extension to the center console outward until you hear a loud plastic cracking. Stop. Take a deep breath and know that you have broken nothing important Remove heater duct careful not to break the blend air door cam (white) and the lever connected to it (black).
You can pull that black lever out if you are patient. Back to the final stage now that you have more room. It is the component with the 5 0r 6 large gauge wires on the connector. Push back the black plastic clamp while pulling/wiggling on the connector.
The final stage should come out, then disconnect the connector. Reinstall all. Make sure the heater duct is installed properly if you removed it.

Gas tank door opener in Honda Odyssey 1997

If the lever itself is broken remove it it will have a cable attached to it. unhook the lever from the cable and pull the inner cord of the cable with plyer's or simular. If the lever is'nt broken it may be stressed so follow the same process. As to removing check arround the lever for screws if no screws the lever pivets on a pin gently tap out the pin with a small punch and hammer if you havent got a suitable punch then file or cut the point of a small nail.

No heater or air conditioning is it the heater control valve or possibly climate control?

I had the same problem. It turned out that the small gray plastic lever arm that opens the mixer door was broken. The big problem with this is that to access this arm and mixer door, you have to remove the dash. You can feel and see the lever by dropping the glove compartment all the way and reaching to the front and left. It was a pain to replace, but well worth it.....
