Way dose my 06 trail blazer try to start in acc postion

Batt. Was dead I put charger on it. I got it started,now it trys to start when I turn key to acc position. Plus it will not shut off with key

Dead batteries put leak. corrosion is first seen on the posts and then at other connections. this stuff destroys connections, I don't know if it can short out a connections or not but because it is corrosive perhaps it has made connections where they are not meant to be made. in any case I am guessing you have canged the batterie and this is when all this started. unfortunately it was the dead battery that caused it. Sell it.

Used parts such as starters and altinators don't last. It might **** but it sounds like you need to buy a new starter,altinator, and battery. Or just start with buying one at a time.

Either the start relay is stuck, the ignition switch is defective or someone messed up the wiring. I'd start by checking out the relay then check the ignition by checking for battery voltage when the ignition is turned to start (at the relay)

how old is the battery most cases the batt is dead even thou lights and all come on but just dose not have the juice to start it,

How do i reset the maintainance light on my 2007 trail blazer
  1. Turn the key to the "ON" position
  2. Press the accelerator all the way to the floor 3 times within 5 seconds
  3. You should see the oil light flash, once it stops flashing, turn the key off
  4. Wait 10 seconds before starting the vehicle, the oil light should now be reset
  5. If this doesn't reset the light, repeat steps 1-4 paying careful attention to pressing accelerator all the way to the floor 3 times within 5 seconds
