Not likely. Probably a mechanical issue.

A couple of issue may be at fault. What may be happening is your injectors are firing, but your spark plugs may not be. Can you test your plugs for spark? If some have spark and the others dont, I would suspect a distributor issue. If none have spark, I would look aat the cam and/or crank sensor. I have very rarely seen a PCM or computer go bad. If none of the above items seem to be failing, I would have a compression test run.

I would only add to tommy martin's good advice, check if fuel pressure is correct, and if fuel pressure regulator has a broken diaphragm. That would let excess gas into the intake and cylinders through the vacuum line to the regulator.

2kd hilux weak engine with mass smoke

The symptoms you're describing with your 2KD Hilux engine (weak engine with mass smoke, vibrations on rev, and less power) could be caused by several different issues. Here are a few possibilities:
  1. Excessive engine oil consumption: If the engine is consuming too much oil, it could be burning the oil and creating a lot of smoke. This could be due to worn engine components such as pistons, rings or valve seals.
  2. Clogged air filter: A clogged air filter can restrict the airflow to the engine, causing it to run poorly and produce more smoke.
  3. Timing issues: If the timing is off on the engine, it can cause poor performance, vibrations and smoke.
  4. Fuel injection system issues: A malfunctioning fuel injection system can cause poor engine performance, vibrations and smoke.
  5. Turbocharger problems: A malfunctioning turbocharger can also cause vibrations, smoke and less power.

Fuel oil mix coming out of airbox hose

That is caused by piston rings leaking or blow-by.
It may be normal but should not contain fuel.

Can your brain box cause fuel to mix with your engine oil?

lol, no it can't. It can cause unusual issues until it dries out if water got inside it, but not mixing fuel and water on purpose.

The other consideration is that the 'brain box', properly can the the ECM (engine control module) is waterproof. I hose my engine bay down twice a year. I keep it very clean. Never had an issue.

Can a weak brainbox cause fuel to be mixed with engine oil

Why do you think there is fuel in the oil? Does it smell like it? Or is the dipstick level climbing? Tell us more about the problem and what you have already tried/done. When was the car last fully serviced? Poor maintenance is no excuse for poor running.

The car uphill obvious weakness, engine power performance Descent

This is probably due to not cause prolonged oil changes, oil filter, air filter causing incomplete combustion of fuel, increased engine deposits and other issues.
Recommended oil, oil filters, each with about 5,000 km to be replaced once, air filter and oil filter every 10,000 km driving needs to be replaced, otherwise the air, fuel and oil impurities cause parts wear and clogging the oil, thus affecting the normal operation of the engine.

My Toyota Siena 2002 model emits black heavy black smoke on motion. It jacks violently when climbing hill. My mechanic said I will change the brain box. Please help!

IS THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON.IF YES COULD BE FAULTY PCM.BUT HAVE CAR CODE SCAN TO MAKE SURE BECAUSE YOU COULD HAVE A FUEL SOAK CHARCOAL CANISTER , WEAK IGNITION SPARK, FAULTY FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR.AND LOW CYLINDER COMPRESSION ALL OF THESE THINGS WILL CAUSE BLACK RICH SMOKE MIXTURE.

When first started black smoke comes out exhaust pipe,, what could this be

Black smoke is burning oil. Blue smoke is usually transmission fluid due to a leaking modulator valve in the older auto transmission. White smoke is due to water getting in to a cylinder from a bad gasket, cracked block or a cracked head. Black smoke from engines on starting and/or running tends to mean there is fuel leaking into the engine, or the fuel mix is incorrect and not atomised correctly. the main causes are normally a nakered air filter that isnt letting enough clean air into the engine to mix. a blocked fuel filter, which is either not letting enough fuel in, or in some cases, a faulty fuel filter which is letting too much fuel into the engine, and causing black smoke due to excess burning. Black smoke is a fuel/air mixture suggestion problems with injection or carbonation. Cause of black smoke is due to running rich in the fuel air mix. Check the oil,the oil leak, the air filter, the fuel pump and fuel filter to confirm the fault.

Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation

2000 cadillac dts. Vehicle is engine is skipping ane fuel needle pegs out to (E) empty while driving.

Sounds like at least one or more of the electrical wires leading to your fuel pump may be shorting out. Possibly corrosion or a weak point. If it is happening intermittently, the connection is probably on the verge of breaking, at which point your vehicle will stall and you will not be able to restart it. You will think that you have run out of gas because your fuel indicater will of course be buried in Empty, even if you have just filled the tank. In an attempt to locate a weak link in the electrical wires, start at the gas tank and trace the wires from there back to the engine. The wires are likely housed loosely in a plastic tubing that protects them under the vehicle and the corrosion point is usually near the end of the plastic tubing just short of where they connect at the plug at the fuel tank. If you find a weak link, you can slide the protective cover back, cut the weak part of the wire out, splice it back together. However, once you have cut one or more of the wires to the fuel pump, your vehicle's "computer" may have to be reset in order for it to even turn over because some vehicles have that default safety feature programmed into their "brain". (not a gadget the average DIY mechanic has in their tool box). There is very possibly a way to interupt the signal to the "brain" while splicing the wires, so that the "brain" is unaware that the wires were cut. Maybe disconnecting the battery, but of this I do not know. I don't think that temporarily pulling the (larger) fuse to the fuel pump would do the trick, because I think some computers have to be reset if that fuse has been pulled also. Good luck. Hope it is as simple as some accessible, easily repairable wires!
