More than likely it's your spark plugs, plug wires or distributor cap. I would just replace them all due to the age of the vehicle and this should fix your problem. Cheap and easy fix. Should only take 30 min or less but the back plug can be a pain so make sure you use a spark plug socket.
ok if it is getting spark at spark plugs that rules out ignition, let go to fuel, needs to check fuel pressure and also injector pulsation, if no pulsation fuel will not get into cylinder's, also a knock sensor will not keep an engine from starting, it controls ignition timing once engine is running.
