How do i change the oil light bulb on the dash seems difficult.

Yes it is complicated, You remove as much of the dash cowling as necessary to be able to then remove the gages as one unit from the dash then remove the bulb from the back of it if it is visible but if not then proceed to disassemble the gage cluster to get at the bulb. Enjoy yourself

I unplugged my cigarette lighter to fix the dash and now my dash gages don't work. Things like my gas gage, temp gage, ect. Where do I start to fix this?

your main plugins have become disconnected ,,there are individual plugs like for your instrument panel ,,,headlamps as well as all plugins ,,you apparently will have to remove your dash back some or crawl under it to ensure all components are plugged into the proper areas ...Note everything must be plugged in ,,leave nothing out

DASHBOARD LIGHT WONT WORK 63 MERCURY MONTEREY BREEZWAY

You probably need to pull the instrument cluster out and replace the illumination bulbs from the backside of the instrument cluster. All the bulbs back there are likely all the same ( your illumination and warning bulbs), so change them all. Happy motoring!
How to get the cluster out? Look for screws to remove. Get any bezel or trim plates out of the way. Check for screws again, cluster should pull out a few inches, then reach behind and unclip the speedo cable from back of cluster, then pull off the electrical plug from back of cluster. Now should be able to remove the cluster. Hopefully your steering wheel will allow cluster to be removed, but if not, take off the steering wheel's center nut, the pull off the steering wheel-sometimes a steering wheel puller is required-an inexpensive tool available at parts store.

Of course, before doing all this, check for a blown instrument panel fuse-something like instr. lmps, or instr pnl designation.
Good luck.

CHANGED MY OIL BECAUSE GAGE WAS READING LOW OIL PRESSURE AND I HAD NO OIL LIFE, TRIED TO RESET OIL LIFE TO 100%, WHICH I DID BUT ON MY DASH ITS STILL READING LOW OIL PRESSURE AND THE GAGE GOES BACK AND...

you either have a faulty oil pressure switch or you have poor oil pressure.if you find the oil pressure switch remove it and install a manuel oil pressure guage there. then you will see if it is the actual oil pressure weak or if it is the switch.

Gas gage light out

well iwould say that if not update software programing for this problem like some other cars. you are going to have to remove some dash trim to gain access to i/p cluster retaining screws, remove screws then cluster, some clusters have serviceable backlighting bulbs & some you would have to take apart to de-solder where the bulb is located behind the gas gauge and try to find one someware. most clusters know a days are not technician serviceable unless you are a special technician. just send out for repair reinstall, reprogram with latest software, and current milage. done deal.

Instrument panel

remove instrument cluster, 2-3 bolts under top of cluster bezel to dash, remove lenze , pull cluster to side and unplug - center bulb burned out, replace and reassemble. Gauge, check that harness is fully pluged into temp sending unit usely on intake manifold. most likely bad connection or bad sending unit. unit is much cheeper than getting checked at shop, where they will probly start with changing unit and charging you and then look further if needed.

Gage reads 10-50 degrees below actual tempiture

The needle on the dash gage can be pulled off and slipped back onto the stem of the gage. First get an accurate temp gage to be sure what the engine temp is operating at. Then remove the face of the dash gages and remove the needle and place it back onto the stem to reflect the current correct engine temp and you should be good.

Temp gage, fuel gage and dash lights out

You need the voltage regulator for the fuel/temp gauge. The cluster has to be removed to change it and while your in there change out the illumination bulbs and that should take car of your lighting issue. I have enclosed a link for the regulator (I found this online, it is not my own). Just copy and paste it to your address bar.
