The P1600 is a generic OBD II code. It just means that a more specific code (Honda) has been set. To find the specific code you have to take it to the dealer or have a Vetronics Mastertech scan tool to get the actual code. The P1433 indicates thats the the main battery contactor or the by-pass contactor is staying active when it should not. Using an Actron pocket code reader will only read generic OBD II codes. Hope this helps.
THEY ARE NOT A MATCHED PAIR BUT THEY SHOULD BE REPALCED AS A PAIR, THAT IS NEVER ONE NEW AND ONE OLD SENSOR. A GOOD QUALITY SENSOR IS AROUND $60, THE MAKER IS NIPPONDENSO, DO NOT SE SO CALLED UNIVERSAL SENSORS.
Hello, Would appreciate more information? However if the vehicle hasn't developed any faults then this possibly means your service interval is due. The engine light is part of OBD diagnostic system via the vehicles on board computer, you do not have to take it to a Honda dealer just find a competant technician who has the necessary OBD checking and re-setting equipment. You may have to have some work carried out and will possibly be charged for diagnostic's I hope this answers your brief request. Good Luck! Paul 'W' Onyer~EDson(:0)~[>< U.K.
remove the rearseat back and unscrew the small plate in the center. then remove the plastic guard and flick to the off postion. it looks like a house breaker. then put plastic guard back to prevent acciedental switching.
