Sway bar bushing repair

Check sway bar bushings/links and sway bar bushing/body mounts, rattle mostly when going over bumps/rough spots in the road.

the sway bar is a bar that runs acrossed the front of the van from strut to strut. It is bolted to the cradel and then has links that run from the bar to the strut to increase stability. The sway bar bushings are rubber mounts that hold the bar down to the cradel. The bar runs though the mounts one each side where the bar and the cradel meet. If they are wore out you will normally hear a clucking noise from the front end when you hit bumps. To remove and replace them there is two bolts that hold a steel cap on top of them on each side. Remove the cap from both sides then the rubber mounts will have a split in them so you can get them off the bar. To install them is just the reverse of the removal. The first thing to check on a rattling noise is if going over minor bumps in the road if that is when it makes noise is a sway bar link, they make a rattling noise. If you raise that wheel up you might also want to try and wobble the wheel to be sure it is not a tie rod end or ball joint. Typically I run into the sway bar links or the sway bar bushings making the noise. However ive even seen it be a rock sitting on the strut plate.

Shocks/struts need to be replaced.

a clunking clanging noise sounds very much like your stabilizer bar end links and bushings. you have a thin rear "sway" bar on the rear of your odyssey. this can cause a whole lot of noise. grab each side and pull/push. if it feals loose, replace the end links and bushings.

either a bad sway bar end link noisy,or the lower control arm busgin is collapsed,if it slight noise its the sway bar link if its a loud metal to metal slap is the lower control arm bushing,,,check to see if its laying against the sub frame,it inline with the back of the front wheel and there is one 21mm bolt that goes thru it from the bottom,thats the are its at , common issue

Most likely you have worn out suspension parts. A front shock could cause the problem because the rubber bushing holding it in place may have dried up and fell out. Upper and lower A-arms have rubber bushings as well.
Best to have the front suspension checked out before it gets worse.

Check both ends of the transmission crossmember to make sure bolts are secure...also check trans mount...it may have failed.

Check your CV joint or brake caliper.

I had the same problem with my 2002 Town and Country Limited. I took it to the mechanic and had the sway bar links and ball joints replaced and still had the same clunking noise when going over bumps at low speeds. The van sounded great on the highway, but country roads were horrible. I was about to replace the struts and pay another 700 dollars when i read somewhere that the sway bar bushings could wear and cause the noise. I took it to the mechanic and he said absolutely not it would be a waste of money. Being the stubborn guy I am, I went to NAPA and bought the two bushings for 12 dollars and replaced them myself in an hour. I took the van for a test ride and the noise is completely gone. Please ignore your mechanic and replace the bushings ASAP! Pretty cheap try even if it doesn't work.
