What does it mean when my security light stays in the message center

Bad reading from your anti theft module. Most of time it is a bad ignition switch. Local parts store should have one. It is the electric part of switch. can also be bad module

Your vehicle requires to go to a service center and have the computer reset, it is just a service interval reminder warning usually based on your mileage and nothing to be alarmed about in most cases..

The Passlock system temporarily lost contact with the key

Look for a contact switch in the trunk. Sometimes, when the trunk (or door for that matter) gets slammed, then button gets set deeper.
What's happening is door and trunk switches are "self adjusting", and a slam "Self adjusts" too far. It is hard to reset the switch without killing it. Just get another one if you find this to be your situation. Test the switch before you buy a replacment.

you can clean the switch , use contact cleaner , from any store for computer, or electronic parts.
If the problem persist the light is in short, replace it

That warning light means you have an external light burnt out. To figure out which one, turn on your lights, and have someone walk around!

Most commonly with these cars the security system will do this if the battery is "drained" while trying to start the car. ie: a low battery that is too weak to turn the engine over. Usualy the power options & accesories will not work if this is happening.
To fix it you will need to ensure the battery is charged, you then disconnect the battery negative cable for about 1 minute with the key out of the ignition. reconnect the battery cable & start the car normally. Everything should be back to normal.
