Dont replace anymore til u know the cause--test for spark 1st-it may just be the ignition module--a worn coil--or bad distributer cap--battery cud be too weak and old-or alternator is------fuel pressure may be weak---------aftermarket electrics dont always work well either--a diagnostic scan can help at a privateshop

Try the ignition switch,

For the Crank sensor there is a small metal disc that mounts behind the sensor if that is cracked or dammaged or installed backwards you will get same results as if it wasn't Make sure the timing marks line up on your timing belt. www.kiatechinfo.com

SOURCE: car has no spark or injector pulse(new ecm, crank sensor)

Check the fuse for the injectors, some vehicles have the injectors and coil running on the same circut, at the same time check the fuse for the ignition.

SOURCE: have a 1991 buick lesabre 3800 v6, cant get to

Check the ECM if it has the number 1228253 on it, this is what is wrong with it. Gm trashed all of these bad ecms. Get a 16198264 as they do not cause a cutting off problem . Get a delco ecm , aftermarket units will give trouble and may be a rebuilt 1228253 which is junk.

Changed crank shaft sensor in 1992 buick lasbre 3800 and car won't start now

Try disconnecting the negative cable from the battery for a couple of minutes, then reconnect it. This will cause the on-board computer to reboot. It may then, recognize the new crank shaft sensor. It's worth a shot and won't cost you a dime to try it. Good luck! Hope you get it started. Bill

94 buick lesabre 3800 engine, stalls after 10 mile drive and will not start till cools. replaced TPS, Fuel pumpand filter, cam sensor, crank sensor, and ignition control module.

next time it won't run after it heats up, spray or pour water in crank sensor and see if it will start. I have seen new crank sensors go bad.
