SOURCE: Blueish white smoke comeing from exhaust

Hello There

White smoke when first started is normal. If white smoke continues you have an internal coolant leak, i.e., cracked head/blown head gasket.
Black smoke is caused by a rich fuel condition.
Blue smoke is caused by oil consumption.

You need to check your oil cap for yellow/white gunk on the cap if you have this then this is a sign your head gasket is cracked. Check to see if your radiator coolant level is down this is also another sign.

Hope this helps. Please don't forget to rate me.

Many Thanks

SOURCE: White smoke coming out of the exhaust when starting the engine?

Its the problem of oil.The oil is getting burned out. The vehicle is either burning oil or it is moisture in the gas chamber if you notice white smoke from the exhaust. This is a common possibility.but in some cases this white smoke is not due to oil burning. In that case   White smoke from the exhaust is a symptom of coolant entering the combustion chamber. Normally this is a sign of a blown head gasket or cracked head. And  this is not a common problem must be repaired immediately. You must STOP driving this vehicle or you will cause serious engine damage. you will have to get both this possibilities checked.
Thanks. you can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

Will only stay running on revs over 2000rpm if I take foot of peddle it cuts out also white smoke from exhaust

What is year--make--model?
Are you losing coolant? The white smoke may be coolant in the combustion cylinder, possibly caused by a head gasket problem. If head gasket problem, fix that first.

With idle issues, clean/check anything that has to do with idle air system. Any applicable trouble codes?

Car started smoking heavy fuel smell coming from exhaust and idles rough

White smoke is water in the cylinders/exhaust. (bad head gasket) White with a bluish color is oil. Black smoke is to much fuel. Which do you have.

White smoke coming from exhaust when accelerating

Is the white smoke steam or water? If so it is a blown head-gasket. Fix ASAP or you will ruin the engine. Or is exhaust blueish/gray or gray and smells like gas or oil. If this is the case then it could be a fuel injector, spark-plug (or no spark to plug), valve seals, piston ring/s, or clogged air filter.

My engine is smoking when i start engine on mornings

sounds like valve guids are wearing out.. drying out and cracking. only fix is to replace them. or try a heavier oil. sometimes that will help depending on the severity of the problem.

I notice during a routine oil check my Forenza was 1 quart short

Have someone rev your engine. Observe the smoke coming out of your exhaust. If the color is bluish white, you are burning oil. It is an indication of worn piston rings and it should be replaced.
