Free lander rev counter intermittent and eng light on and off

sounds like an engine sensor try the crankshaft sensor as the rev counter gets its info from that , might be helpful to get the OBD read by a suitable mechanic

ur battery is dead,please check battery orreplace with anew one

vehicle speed sensor or more commonly a intake gasket vacuum leak.

Any codes ? Surging idle or erratic just a lil more info ?

check your alternator

i take it its a petrol engine? if so sounds like a motorized throttle body fault

I also have a G35 05. This is not an error. The REV light is within a circle, this is a gauge. This gauge also has an amber light in it which blinks or stays on solid based on settings you control. This can be controled with your trip selector button. This button has multiple functions, as you press it, your trip A counter will show, then your trip B counter, then your REV light indicatior setting. this is where you set the RPM limit. If you wish to change the RPM limit to a higher or lower setting, press and hold the trip selector button until the display starts blinking. Then press multible times until you get to the RPM's your looking for. Now when you approch the RPM's selected, the light will start blinking and once your reach them, the light will stay on solid.

Your problem sounds as if the thermo sensor....which controls the air fuel ratio when engine is cold....is faulty. It is a common fault on this model.
This is not an expensive part, and takes only a short time to fit.
