The fuel pump is located in the fuel tank as are most modern vehicles made today. The fuel tank will need to be dropped down to remove it. If you need further answers regarding the fuel pump ask me here in a comment.
TO replace the fuel pump, remove the gas tank. When replacing the fuel pump also replace the strainer on the bottom of the pump and replace the fuel filter.
The fuel pump is located in the fuel tank. On these GM cars, the fuel tank must be dropped in order to change the pump. It is alos recomended that the fuel filter be changed at the same time which is on the frame of the vehicle, left side. the pump at autozone runs about $75 and don't forget the strainer for about $10. The filter runs about$10 also.
fuel pump relay is in engine compartment on drivers side under the flap the two relays that are together ,it is the bottom relay,,u cant by pass.if relay is good ,if it clicks when turning over and key on and off (it should click and go off if key is turned on) then use a test light and ground it find wires going to top of tank and probe wire have some one turn key on ,it should light up test light and go off ,if this happens ,replace fuel pump
The fuel pump relay is located behind of the glove box. The fuel pump fuse is located in the same box (Relay Center). The fuel pump relay is either the 2nd or 3rd one down in the 2nd row. You may want to check your computer codes and make sure it is not your ECM or BCM as they can shut down ones fuel pump too.
