If the ignition on this car is ever disconnect then the key needs to be programmed. This vehicle has a key recognition system. This is an anti theft system. The new ignition needs to be programmed by a computer. You may have to take it to trhe dealer and pay them to do it. They are some regular shop that can do it, but I will recommend the HONDA dealer hands down. Good luck and thanks for using FIX YA

My Honda Accord 2003 car does not play CD (Audio) except engine is on. if i turn the ignation without starting the engine, audio does not paly. i cannot play music except i start the car. how could this be...

It could be a problem in the ignition switch, where the connections for the ACC items are not making contact. Does the heater fan or windsheild wipers work when the cd doesn't?

I have a 2004 honda accord last night i drve it with no problems out of no where today it wont start i have lights radio but it will not turn over we tried boosting with a car and a booster

If it won't start with booster cables, but the radio and lights work, that's not good.
Try putting it in neutral instead of park.
It could be the ignition switch, the starter relay, the starter, etc.
The etc is the problem. It takes a mechanic to figure it out if it's not just a moody ignition switch.

95 accord intermittently runs

Bent valves- my 96 civic had that too. it's a manufacturing fault. Have you mechanic do a leak down test.

I have a 2003 Honda accord that will not start! Tried to jump battery..all fans and belts were running however car would not turn over...bought a new battery and replaced with old now my car want do a

I have seen issues like this on other Honda's and the problem turned out to be the ignition starter switch. Do this, jumper power directly to the starter solenoid trigger wire and see if the engine cranks.

1996 olds aurors wont start without stalling immediatley

Sounds like the fuel pump or the relay.
You'll need to figure out if it is a fuel or ignition problem to proceed.
Is the check engine light on ?

1996 Honda accord starts occasionally. No clicking sound, lights and radio come on when key is turned. Just service vehicle, changed oil, radiator, ignition switch, muffler, sparkplugs, distributor cap,...

Sounds like bad battery cables. Try that. Other than that. take it to a mechanic and have them look at it while you are standing there (he can't charge you! never let it enter the shop!).

2003 Honda Accord Check Engine / Maintenaice Requeried

If you brought your car to Honda for service, they probably forgot to reset the maintenance reminder. If you took it to another shop, they probably did not know how to reset it. Anyway, the reset procedure is:

Put your key in the ignition
Turn the key to the II position for a couple of seconds
Then turn the key to the off position
Now push and hold in the odometer reset button
While still holding the odometer reset button, turn the key back to the II position
Hold for I think 10 seconds or so and your maintenance reminder light should reset it self.
